There are lots of things that I need to blog about since I haven't been blogging for almost a week now. Talk about lots of things which I want to say, I think I should give a summary for each category instead of giving details else the blog will go way too long.

New Friend
I made a new friend while away for work at another place last week. We had lots to talk about, lots of common interest. She's a year younger. It's quite hard this age to get a new friend as we all have very old and common friends who we hang out with. Either that or we'll be too busy with work and family. I'm glad to know her. However, again it's time that may keep us together or apart. If we have lack of time to meet up, I think ultimately this new friendship won't last for long. I hope we do keep in touch and at least maintain a close contact then.


Disastrous Sat last week
I was supposed to help Zann with her tutoring last Saturday. Summary, supposedly I wasn't late. But I drove to the wrong place, drove again and later on, this happened...





What a day man! It's just like a scene of a disastrous day in some drama series. Yes! That happen in real life too! At least it happened to me! Grr...


Sugie's Fetish
Just realised that Sugie has a fetish the other day. He has a thing for tissue papers! He loves to eat and chew on them as if I haven't feed him for days, as if they are some kind of delicacy! Why? Only he knows... haha...

Cab Fare
I was wondering the other day, why is it that the 30cents increase due to the increase in price for petrol for cabs has yet to decrease when the price of petrol has decreased drastically? Why is it that they always increase the fare very quickly when there's situation that's to their advantage? Then when it comes to decrease of fare, it takes them years to do so? I wonder how long do we have to wait?


Cleo
I've subscribed to Cleo for quite some time. The articles are mostly interesting. Take for instance one of them for this month's edition.

Under the code of wedding etiqette, there's a section of it which talks about "Can I tell my maid of honour I hate the hen's night she's planning?" It sort of made me think about "How should I tell my maid of honour that I would like her to organise a wild wild hen's night for me?" Haha... Then there's one which says "Must I give the bride a red packet even if I haven't seen her in years?" I was quite surprised to see that as I thought traditionally, people who are invited to wedding dinners will still give an Angbao regardless how long they have yet to see each other. Anyway, the section says the following to the question: "If you're attending a wedding, there's no reason to expect a free meal. Your red packet should at least cover the cost price of hosting you. Here's a rough guideline. Three star hotel -- 60 to 80bucks, Four star hotel -- 100bucks and Five star hotel -- at least 150bucks." I was very glad that they made this a point. How I hope all my guests who I'm gona invite read this article. So at least they know the market price and hopefully then I will not make a loss. Hmm... Probably they should include a section on "How should I let my guests know the cost price of my table so that I will not make a loss?" Hohohoho...

Act don't want to go out on this Saturday. Like I guess, he has soccer matches to watch on that day. Else he would want to go out. Grr... Anyway we did go out for awhile as we had to meet up with some photographers and videographers for our actual day.


AD Photographer and Videographer
Talk about searching for photographers and videographers, it took me almost 2 nights searching for some reputable ones. There are so many around SG with different pricing and styles. Wow. At least, right now we sort of have an idea who we want to engage. Anyway, while looking through the videos, I happened to chance upon this couple who looks so loving. The guy would hold the bride's face and kiss her passionately. That's like so sweet. Obviously, yes, he's an angmoh. I doubt there's any SG guys who do that anymore. "This is a hint to Beeie..." haha...
