General Updates
Two weeks ago, I had this strange encounter.
It was around 11 plus when this happened. I was near Sembawang Shopping Centre having supper with my godbro.
After supper, we went to the car which was parked outside a missionary. I didn't know that there was a missionary in Sembawang so out of curiosity, I looked at it for a while.
Just then, I saw a man sitting on some sort of parapet. I couldn't see the parapet though so he looked as if he was hanging in the air. He was dressed in a red polo tee and beige bermudas. He's an Indian and he seems as if he was talking and smiling to someone beside him but I can't seem to see anyone else. I commented to my godbro that he looks scary and asked if he saw him. He said yap and I didn't think much.
After sending me home, then he revealed that he didn't see anyone at all! Chill ran down my spine and goose bumps popped.
I cried and hugged Beeie as soon as I reached home. Beeie said that I looked pale. I couldn't imagine such things happening to me. It was unbelievable cos he looked just like an ordinary guy!
From then on, I started getting paranoid and I don't dare to watch any horror movie. Maybe I'm getting older. Suddenly afraid of everything especially illness and death (生老病死).
Anyway, right after that incident, Beeie went Taiwan for almost a week so how can I not be paranoid when I'm alone at home?
Somehow or rather, I feel that my health has something got to do with this too. Not sure, or maybe just being paranoid.
The next night after the incident, I met Mimi for supper. I went to fetch her at Novena Square.
People who know me will know that my driving areas only cover Chua Chu Kang, Woodlands, Sembawang, Yishun, Ang Mo Kio and Bishan. Nowhere else. So that night was an exploration drive too. Can't imagine I drove for 1.5hrs from Bukit Panjang to Novena Square and Balestier!
Can't imagine that I drove past Tuas, Taman Jurong, BKE, PIE, KPE, CTE, Jalan Bahagia, then Novena and Balestier without the help of GPS or street directory!!
Though a great distance and time taken but it was an achievement for me. A greater achievement was to park parallel for the 1st time after 2 years of passing my license. I took like the whole 10min to maneuver my car into the lot. At least it was in and straight not slanted! Luckily no car at the back too!! Else very malu!! Hahaha..
Back to my health.. So all these incidents link to my recent health condition.
During my adventurous drive, I had nose bleed. I can't imagine since how long ago, I had yet to get any nose bleed and it came so sudden!!
While I was nervously driving, my nose started bleeding!! Luckily the tissue paper is within my reach and I quickly popped 1 into my nostril.
That night, my right nostril bled thrice!! Stopped and came.. I told myself, I was too heaty and dismissed it as just normal nose bleed.
Then on and off that week, I had nose bleed alternate days and alternate nostril. I had cough and flu too. It was so bad that I bled from both nostrils one day.
I spent like 100 bucks just visiting the doc. I had to miss work for 1 week and speaking of that, I also missed my moonlighting for that week!! Missing moonlighting is a big deal cos I lost 500 bucks for just that 1 week!!
Then last Saturday was the worst! I bled so badly I swallowed a few clot blood. It's terrible cos it doesn't feel like the normal nose bleed. So that day I went to A&E for a scope.
Of cos everything is normal else I won't be blogging here. However after the nose and throat scope, my throat became so inflamed that I had fever the next day. Now fever subsided but the cough seems to be there forever.
Spent another 200 bucks on the procedure. Ggrr.. Overall, just 3 weeks, I lost almost 1k!! No wonder people say health is wealth!! Zzz..
Apart of all the so call bad things that happened to me recently, of cos there are good ones too.
Now I can proudly declare that I'm debtless (provided I stop spending.. Keke..) cos Beeie paid off my "branded" debts for me. Of cos that comes with terms and conditions too. I will not be able to use any credit cards from now on and I can't have any spree shopping at least until the end of the year. Sigh..
Good thing for me to try to curb my obsession but bad thing for a leopard trying to change its spots.. Well, at least Beeie gave me a spending budget this month before I totally stop spending. He said I could buy 500 bucks worth of clothes this month an that's final.
Happy, but sad cos I exhaust the whole budget just in 2hrs this morning!!
I went to Mediacorp Bazaar today with Ting. For those who watched TCS 8 show at 9pm during weekdays. You'll know of this show that Rui En and Joanne Peh starred in. The show "A tale of two cities" featured both the celebrities in very chio clothes.
Many in the forum searched for the brand which sponsored the outfits. So Ting and I happened to get to know about this bazaar thingy that was supposingly held once every year. We were like crazy!
The bazaar starts at 10am but we reached like 830am. Just so that we can get all the "Ho liao". As guessed, we did!! That's why I've exhausted my budget!! But happy lah. Get to buy clothes that are cheaper than the original ones sold at the boutique and worn by celebrities somemore! Keke..
Joanne Peh is damn skinny lah! I can't even squeeze into some of the clothes which she wore!! She's like an XS size or some smaller loh!! Even Ting so skinny also need to squeeze!! And Joanne Peh is like so much taller than the both of us!
After today, I felt like going on diet again.. Zzz.. Maybe one day after I given birth for 2 kids then I shall consider doing tummy tuck!! Whahaha..
Well, the post is really long cos I was so busy ever since work started. Can't imagine the hectic lifestyle I'm leading with a full time job and moonlightings.
Gonna last till the end of this year before I go for a short break next year. Ok, enough of words.. Some photos then..

The bazaar I went to today and posted below are some of the tops and bottoms which I bought.
The "cape" which I bought is very good for accessorizing especially on a plain top:

Overall, I bought 12 pieces and 70 to 80% of them I still look good lah.
Moral of the story is, unless you have superb figure, don't buy clothes at bazaars or online shops, cos you will either can't fit in some or look terrible in some that in the end you'll have to give it away. Only good thing is they're cheap lah..
I think this is ever the longest post I ever posted. I wander if anyone will read all these. Most will just close once he/she sees such wordy post. Or maybe just scan through the pictures. But if you are friends who care about me, you'll read right?! Whahaha..
