Woh! I lost 7kg!
I thought I only lose 4kg. Who knows? I just realized that I was 54.9kg on the first day of my slimming regime.. Now I am 48kg exactly! I hope I can continue to be so determined till CNY! Then, I shall go tone myself!! Whoohoo!

My First Chanel Classic Bag!
Yap! Finally got it yesterday! Keke.. After such a long wait.. Didn't want to get the 2.55 cos I like the cc interlocking more.. :)
How much? Gee.. After the searched the net. I realized the price had increased so much in just a short period of time..
N everyone in Singapore seems so rich nowadays.. There are more people getting Chanel bags! I think LV is soon gonna turn into Coach cos everyone can afford it! N maybe Coach will soon be the Bonia?
Anyway, best of all, I DIDN'T PAY FOR IT!! IT'S A GIFT FROM BEEIE!! N he says he's never going to get anymore such expensive gift for me.. (to me, better than none.. Keke..) He says his heart is bleeding.. So cute hor!!

Why are people fighting against each other?
The world is already in such a mess.. Full of disaster, poverty, illness and all sorts.. Why are people still fighting against each other? Why can't they learn to live peacefully and just help each other go through the difficult times?
It's so scary.. No wonder the earth can't take it anymore!
Just saw the news on NDM-1. You don't know what it is?

Other than the superbug mentioned above, people are still starting a war.. Go to googles and type North Korea news. There you have it, a whole list all about what it did..
Then there's the slashing and hitting of youngsters by teenagers as young as 13! Two incidents in our "supposingly very safe" Singapore within months.
Just a while ago, I saw a news in Taiwan about this man who robs a woman in the broad daylight! The woman did get away but the man still gave chase. The woman ran into a petrol kiosk, thinking she may get help. In the end, the robber just went in and in front of the public, snatched her bag away!! No help from the public too!! WTF?!
How can people be so ruthless nowadays? What happen to all the moral and values learnt in school? Do they really wanna bring the world down and start to regret?
I seriously can't stop asking myself these questions. This is a sad sad world..

Naughty Sugie Boy
Beeie and I were out for dinner. We left Sugie Boy in the living room. When we came back, we had a shock of our lives.
Nothing destructive.. Just that he did something which we never expect him to do in our life.
Found the red plastic bag on the floor. It's funny cos he's always afraid of plastic bags. We didn't expect him to go bite it down from the table and start rummaging through it.
The next moment, we found another smaller clear plastic bag in the other corner of the living room.
Then we realized that this plastic bag was supposed to be in the red one.
Mm.. What is so shocking than peeing in all the areas of the house??
Well, we really can't find, even till now that we searched the entire house.. We can't seem to find a single crump of bread that was originally in the clear plastic bag!! Not even the silver foil that's under the bread!! Where else can it be?!
Sugie Boy has never tasted human food before!! He's always on dry dog food. I wonder will he become a "vampire" as in "once bitten never shy".. Will he not eat his own food and wants ours in the future? Will he get a tummy ache tomorrow?
Luckily, it was just cheese and sugar bread. Imagine if it's chocolate! That's like toxic to dogs! Well, or maybe he decided to give himself a belated birthday "cake"!
But still, he needs to be punished and taught the right behavior before he gets more bumps on his body cos of nonsense that he did.
He's still punished in the utility room since 1130pm. Not a single movement or whining.. He knows his mummy is so angry with him. And he'll only come out when I give him the permission.. Ggrr..

Titanic II
I was bored to death and wanted to watch Titanic on YouTube when I found this:

I was so fascinated by it! But later to realise that the trailer is a fake lah! The person who made the trailer is truly a genius! He took out so many parts of Leonardo DiCaprio's movie and made them into 1! I almost believed it! I quite hope that it was real. Quite a good plot though.
Then after this, I got really interested about Titanic and searched wikipedia about it. It's quite a good history lesson. Do read up. A lot of interesting facts.
Anyway, I did search on Titanic 2 as well cos according to rumours, there's really one that will be out soon.
So as usual, I checked on the trustworthy wikipedia. True enough. There's a part 2. It's not really a sequel of the James Cameron movie, but more of a repeat of the exact same plot. And it only happen in 2012 which is 100 years after the real Titanic sank. The thing is if everything is gonna be similar to James Cameron's movie, then I rather watch his.

Dinner at Sakura
Met Mimi today. Went to Sakura and the Tom Yam Soup is still as superb. I think it's quite difficult to find nice Tom Yam Soup in Singapore nowadays. Ever since the one at Fisherman Village close down, I find none others except for the one at Sakura.
The service was quite good overall. Apart from the blunder made by the new waiter, others were fine. Especially the supervisor. He was extremely nice.
Love the fried wanton too. Yum! ｖ（＾＿＾ｖ）♪

IVF Gone Terribly Wrong!!
How can anyone take this kind of news! This is like the most terrible thing that can happen to anyone?!
Just read the Chinese papers. A couple went through the IVF procedure at Thomson Hospital.
After successfully fertilizing the egg and the woman gave birth to a healthy baby, the couple then realized that the baby does not look like the dad at all!
They went on to take a blood test and obviously, a kid with blood type B can never be given birth by a couple of blood type A and O. So they went on with the DNA.
True enough! The baby has the mum's genes and none from the dad!! WTF?! How can a hospital or the doc in charge or maybe the nurse in charge be so irresponsible?! This is a mistake committed for life lah! Wah Lao! Or maybe it's the cleaner? Who accidentally swapped the tubes of sperm to create this "joke" on the couple?! Or could it be all a scam?! Sad for the couple!
So how now? I wonder what would the couple do to the hospital? I wonder how would the hospital be explaining on this matter? From what I've read, the couple is thinking of putting up the baby for adoption.
I wouldn't know what I'll do if it's me. What will you do? Tragic!

Got it!! Keke.. I got it!!
ヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ I didn't get the limited edition Formula 1 cos it was sold out already.. I sort of guessed it cos there's only 250 pieces worldwide.. I didn't get the white one cos it looks too sporty.. Abit difficult to match lah.. I quite like it though.. If possible, I would have bought both.. But I didn't.

I wanna save up for the next 1! Hohohoho.. （＾Ｏ＾） Enough of branded bags. That's what I was thinking now. I want branded watches! So this one costs 4.3k, the next one will cost 5 to 6k! Hohohoho!! ♪（ｖ＾＿＾）ｖ
I'm thinking of Omega before moving on to the ultimate Rolex! Whahahaha.. （＾◇＾）
Oh, there's actually another similar one with diamonds all around. It's nice but looks abit too old for me. So in the end I got this which is partial with diamonds. This one is more elegant than the Formula 1 and is easier to match my daily outfit. The white one is too outstanding. Can't match easily.
Anyway, I felt that Tag Heuer should come out with rose gold watches for the ladies. The colour is so in now! And I like that! Too bad there isn't.. Else I'll definitely choose the one with rose gold!! (^_−)−☆

DrumMania aka Percussion Freaks
Last night, Beeie and I went to Lot 1 to get baby's food. When we got there, we were quite late. So after dinner, we had nothing to do.
We went to the arcade to see what kind of games which they have now.
To my surprise, the games are damn advance nowadays lah!!
I still remember the times when there's BeatMania and DrumMania during my poly days. Those were the coolest games back in my days. There were always long queues and it cost $1 to $2 to play once. I remember playing truant with Phyllis just to play those games. Then I would spend about $50 a day or even a 100 just to keep on practicing. I even bought my own drum sticks back then cos the one provided was too heavy. It's not as good as the lighter ones. We even got to know new friends cos of those games. Then with the new friends, we will talk about the games, challenge each other... Fun time..
So yesterday, I was so shock to see the latest version of the DrumMania set!! Damn pro lah!! I was considered quite pro with playing that back in my days. Yesterday, I couldn't even operate it appropriately! And the graphics are damn good!! That just gave me a hard slap in the face and tell me "Wake up! You're no longer 18!" zzz... I used to laugh at my mum and dad for not able to use our latest mobile phone. Now, I can't operate those things that I used to be so good then..
Anyway, having a nostalgia for my poly days, I found some DrumMania pics online and I took some pics of the new DrumMania XG last night. Make a comparison to see the evolution of this game!!
The one which I started was 1st mix if I'm not wrong. Can't find the machine anywhere now. There isn't any pic of it online too.
I love the songs in that mix too. I remembered when I started playing the hard songs, I started with 'When I have a dream'. Then I moved on to 'Happy Man' followed by alot others. These 2 were etched in me. The best difficult song which I ever played well was 'Across the nightmare'. Damn difficult but I'm always proud that I could play it well. Every time, I would just choose to play this song to show off. Haha.. I wonder if I can still play it..

Notice: All these mixes even up to the 10th mix all only include 5 hand sets and 1 foot set. There were only 3 buttons to operate and no stools were provided. I still remember getting the plastic stools and stacking them up to fit my height.

Damn pro lah!! It has 7 hand sets and 2 foot sets. Total of 5 buttons with an additional help button. There's even the e-simulator card for the pros to (I also dunno do what). There's a damn pro adjustable Yamaha stool!! Even complete with full stage lights and damn good sound system!! Chioness!! Only setback is they're still using the old drum stick.. Should upgrade that too!
I can't believe my eyes when I saw that. I wonder what woul become of the games 15 years later. Super into new tech stuff. I also saw other simulators like dance, music and keyboard stuff. Damn different from my time. If you're free, you should just drop by Lot 1 arcade at 5th level to check out these new stuff. I'm not sure about other arcades but at least this is worth a look if you're into these stuff like I do..

Morning, late.. Then, got told off 3 times in a row.. Whole day, surrounded by irritating people (except break time).. Also, surrounded by topics that I hate to listen to.. Evening, damn busy.. Sleepless Nights
I'm not suffering from insomnia.. I hope I could go to sleep too! Alas! I had so much work on hand..
On Monday, I slept at 5.30am. On Tuesday, I slept at 6am. On Wednesday, I woke up at 7.30am and slept at 1am. On Thursday, I slept at 6am. On Friday, I slept at 12am.
I've been surviving on red bull and chicken of essence! Luckily my busiest week is over! Now I just have to focus on my busier week.. Zzz.. When will I ever be free?
I will also need to settle moving my place too. Looking around for rented flats now and can't seem to find any that suits our category. Can't imagine we have to vacant by 25 Nov! We haven't even start packing and I'm still so busy with work.. Gosh!
I felt like I grew older and more haggard due to my sleepless nights. You know, women at my age who lose our sleep is deadly. Why do you think we call it beauty sleep?
Now that I'm fat, I can't afford to lose my chioness you know.. Whahaha.. (As if still chio..)
Anyway, just finished dolling up cos going to Beeie's friends' wedding. I took 2h! Rusty already. So long didn't have heavy make up that's why.. Not fantastic.. But I think still can 见人! Hahaha.. Of cos still fat lah.. But ok lah..
Only boo boo is.. I have no shoes.. Long time never go shopping leh.. Long time didn't go wedding dinner too. No dinner shoes.. Zzz.. In the end have to wear my work shoes.. Boring.. Monday to Friday wear that, now Saturday also need to wear. Ok lah.. Only thing it's my most expensive shoes ever so must wear till it's worth it's price.. Whahaha.. Though da match.. Aiyo.. So contradicting.. Keke..

Busy Wedding Anniversary
We were both so busy, we didn't really celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary! Weekdays and even Saturdays were out for the both of us as we had to work for such long hours. We have our chores on Saturday so we don't really get to go out on Saturdays now. On Sunday, we have to go separate visiting to our own family and later gather together to play a weekly affair mj with his family so we don't really have "alone" time together.
No choice, who ask us to be so money minded recently. ;) We didn't really get each other anything cos we don't even have time to go shopping. Beeie however did order a cute pencil case for me from his colleague.
Anyway, we promised each other a good celebration after we moved and when we're both less occupied close to the end of the year. Hope that'll make up for this year's anniversary!

Senior Citizen Concert (Goh Tai)
Now at some senior citizen concert. It really amaze me cos you can never imagine how these senior citizens can sing. Not bad.. Can see that they really put in alot of time and effort in practicing and rehearsing. From the way they dress up for the occasion, can see they put in alot of money too..
Their age ranges from about 40s to 80s.. Multiracial too! There's even an Indian singing a Chinese song from the 70s..
I can never imagine how I'll look when I'm their age. I wonder if I can look as attractive as them. Some of them are really attractive even at their age. Very good maintenance. But some are really horrible lah! The way they dress and shake.. Abit gross and funny to watch.. Still I think this is their only entertainment. I may be like them too. I'll never know.

Why are dogs afraid of thunder?
Every time it starts to rain, Sugie will find an area to hide away from the loud roar of thunder. He will also tremble and salivate a lot.
Mimi's Ricco and her other dogs will howl and whimper and run around the house.
Marley in "Marley and me" will start messing up the house and scratch on the floor and wall.
Are all dogs afraid of thunder? If yes, are they born with it or it develops in the later part of their years?
I got curious about this topic so I decided to check out from the Internet.
Apparently, not all dogs are afraid of thunder. Some dog owners say that their dogs would even sleep through during rainy days. Some cats are afraid of thunder too.
So what are the reasons? Why are dogs afraid of thunder? Some reasons I found are listed below. I think they're not scientifically proven. More of people's believes. They're quite interesting though.
Reason 1:
Their super-sensitive ears respond both to lower volumes and higher pitched sounds. Thunder is very loud for them it's like playing drums full blast to a baby.
Reason 2:
Some dogs are reincarnations of human soldiers fallen in previous wars. They are here to demonstrate through their unconditional love for us that we should be the same to each other and not befall the path of violence as they have learned.
As a result the sound of thunder triggers a deeply traumatic memory for them of being in battle in a previous life, cowering with fear and horror at every step as the threat of bombs and missiles bear down on them.
By eliciting human reassurance, they are training us to live peacefully and kindly on earth, and fulfill their dreams of returning to human form again when their task is done when human violence resigned to history.
Reason 3:
Some dogs are afraid of thunder for the same reason that some small children are: thunder is a loud, abrupt noise that arrives unexpectedly from somewhere beyond the animal's capacity to understand. This startles the animal and, because it cannot understand how the sound is formed and does not expect it when it arrives, can frighten it. A dog will vocalize this fear in precisely the same way a small child does: whimpering (crying) and seeking security from the dominant animal in its life.
So after knowing the possible reasons why my dog is afraid o thunder, I also wanna know how to help him overcome his phobia. Therefore I searched for solutions too.
Solutions:
•Handle it early on in your dog's life.
•Don't heed advice to let her "sweat it out" or not to "baby" her.
•Offer treats, cuddlings and other good stuff when storms happen.
•Let him hide — in a crate.
•Get him away from the noise, and compete with it.
•Ask your veterinarian about drugs.
•Consider seeing a board-certified veterinary behaviorist.
I guess I'll play some techno music for Sugie next time the thunder rumbles. Hopefully he'll get distracted from the noise then.
One good thing, I know when to close my windows. Cos I have my most accurate weather forecast!

If they don't care about the children at all, then why have them at the first place??!!
Have them just cos the government encourages birth?
Have them just cos they have someone to see to their funeral arrangement when they die?
Or is it just for companion sake?
God!! There're other couples out there who wants to give their children lots of attention and love!! But god made these couples childless!! God then gives those who don't even care for their children plenty of kids!! WTF?! I wonder what is he doing up there?!
I really hope those parents who seriously don't care for their children to wake up their idea soon! These poor children need your love, care, concern and attention to grow into a better person!!

Is it the end of the world? According to reports, it's not. But it will affect the electricity of the whole planet!
What is solar storm?

Solar storm can refer to:
Solar flare - a large explosion in the Sun's atmosphere
Coronal mass ejection (CME) - a massive burst of solar wind associated with solar flares
Geomagnetic storm - the interaction of the Sun's outburst with Earth's magnetic field
According to sources from the Internet,
Astronomers are predicting that a massive solar storm is to strike our planet in 2012.
Several media have reported that NASA was warning the massive flare this month was just a precursor to a massive solar storm building that had the potential to wipe out the entire planet's power grid.
Similar storms back in 1859 and 1921 caused worldwide chaos, wiping out telegraph wires on a massive scale. The 2012 storm has the potential to be even more disruptive.
Astronomers predict that this coming solar storm (2012 but possibly later into 2013) will be the most violent in 100 years.
No one really knows what effect the 2012-2013 solar storm will have on today's digital-reliant society.

Are you obsessed with the right things?
This is the recent slogan from The Breast Cancer Foundation of Singapore. It pinpoints on women who are obsessed with looks and body but never take note on one thing: regular breast examination.
Three clever advertisements with real body painting highlights the slogan mentioned above. Which is more important? Looks? Or a matter of life and death?
The advertisements caused a controversy. To me, they look perfectly fine. They totally suit the slogan. Others think that the ads should be "R" rated. What do you think?

My First Piggy Bank
Yap! First! After at least 25 years! That's my first! It was love at first sight.. I wanted this savings box the first time I saw it on display in a bank.
Today, Beeie surprised me with it! He's so cute.. Still act 神神秘秘 (secretive).. Though in front of me but act wanna hide the box.. Like didn't want me to see.. He knew I'll get curious and wanna find out.. Keke.. So cute hor you hor.. So funny hor..

Reality is not what we perceive to be
It's funny that reality isn't what I see in the mirror. I thought that I look ok. Just only with a "tiny bulging" tummy.. Until I see the photo that I took yesterday. Then I confirm to myself that I'm a fatty.. Zzz..
