Independence = Money
Humans are always depending on others. When one is young, he or she will depend on the parents.
Once grown up, one will depend on their friends.
Middle aged ones depend on their partner.
Old ones depend on their children.
What about the dead or the god? Do they depend on anyone or anything? Even animals also depend on each other for food etc. Plants also depend on the weather for growth.
Can I conclude by saying living things depend on others for a lot of things?
Human is more complex. The things we depend on ranges a great deal.
A friend depending on the other for help.
A child depending on the parent for money.
An elderly depending on his grandson to read to him.
A sister depending on her sibling to lend her some cash.
A wife depending on the husband to send or fetch her to work, etc..
So how can one learn to be independent? Why do we always depend on others? Why can't we do everything on our own?
It's sometimes frustrating when you need to depend on someone and that someone find you a chore.
It's hard especially when you need to depend on one and it feels as though you are begging one to help you.
Personally, I hate it when I have to ask for help and I have to be rejected but yet I've no choice but to ask again.. That's a kind of begging which I seriously hate. And it comes back to why can't I depend on myself then?
Reason being: To be independent, one needs a huge resource. The letter M..
M for money. That's the real world! With all the money you have, you need not depend on anyone at all! All problems solved!
Or maybe you still depend on others, yes. However these people will never find you a chore! In fact, they would appreciate it if you always depend on them! In that way, they're being paid!
The friend can pay someone to help him or her.
The child need not depend on the parent for money, obviously.
The elderly can pay someone to read to him instead.
The sister need not borrow cash since she's rich.
The wife can get her own car to drive herself to work, etc..
Yes, problem all solved. Final conclusion:
1) Money = Independence
2) Money = No need for begging
3) Money = Happiness since it's a win win situation

Comfort Delgro Taxi Drivers
I wanted to blog about this a few days ago but work was hectic.
I took cab almost everyday and every single time, I have been booking a cab. There's a few different types of cab drivers whom I met and I can't take their attitude. Not all are bad. Let me share it with you.
I'm always bewildered why would they pick up a call when they're further away and especially those who don't even know how to get to my place.
A few instances.
1) They're 10 minutes away from my place. Why would they want to pick up my call? Don't they know that people call a cab cos they're rushing for time? I always hate it when I see that the cab which I've called asked me to wait 7 to 9min. Sometimes they took more than that time given! And I'm rushing to reach my work place in 10min! In the end, I was late cos of waiting for them to arrive! I pity those who are nearby and may reach in 3min! They can't take my call even if they want to or I want them to just cos they're less alert or slower in pressing the button to accept my call! It's like they better train on fastest finger first! WTH?!
2) They ask me to wait 7 to 9min. In the end they still have to take another 5min or so to find my place.. They're just wasting their time and mine! Waste of patrol too! Why take the call when you don't even know where's the god damn place?! I ever kana twice whereby the cab gave up coming to my place. One of them called to check with me how to get here.. WTF?! How am I supposed to guide you?! Bloody hell! And I'm rushing lah! This fellow gave up and guess what he told me? "You go book another cab! I don't know where's your place! Du...." FYI, that's the line engage tone. F!! He hang up my call after saying that and didn't even apologize! Damn F up lah! Of cos I complained! I was late 30min cos of that asshole! Another took about 15min to reach my place. I saw the bloody cab but it u-turned and went off! Next moment I called the operator to stop it, the fellow already clicked on the "no show" button and claim I didn't show up! Obviously he's late and damn blind lah!! I was frantically waving to him and trying to stop him lah! God damn it's raining so heavily some more! How to run in front of him to stop him?! Again, I complained lah! But seriously, do they really take the complaints seriously? I really doubt so.
3) Some of them are damn rude lah! I tell them thank you more than 10 times, they don't even respond loh! I wonder did their parents and teachers teach them manners?! If not then no wonder they're so damn stuck up lah! So stuck up why be taxi-drivers?! People who know me will know that I'm someone who can say thank you all the time! I hate it when these drivers don't even reciprocate. At least nod your head lah! So difficult?! One of them didn't even open his mouth at all even after I reach my destination! I feel so tempted to say "Thaaannnkkk yoooou...." if you know what I mean.
4) Then, there're some who are extremely kaypo and talkative. Sometimes I just wanna have some peace and quiet or I just feel like resting. This CB will just keep going on and on even if my facial expression is damn obvious that "Hey! I'm F not interested at all lah!!" They will still catch no ball. Wonder how low are their IQ..
5) Then there were those overly polite ones. They address me as madam. Every time I ask them to make a turn, they'll reply me yes madam, thank you madam.. I feel so uneasy. Too polite makes me uncomfortable.
Aiya, you may feel that I'm difficult to satisfy lah.. But I'm still a paying passenger. I have my rights k?! Anyway, all these only apply to 15% of all the Comfort taxi drivers lah.. My dad is definitely not one of them!
Conclusion to my post. I'm a prestige passenger k?! At least 1/10 of my salary go to my cab fare every month! So please do something about all these black sheep lah!
Message to these drivers: the bloody surcharge for booking a cab is just a god damn $2.50 or $3.50! Please don't fight over calls as if you're receiving $250 or $350 leh!! Kaoz!!

I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant!
Nah!! It's not me!
I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant is a television program that airs on Discovery Health. Each episode features two or more women who were unaware that they were pregnant until they went into labour.
When my colleague told me about such a show today, I was quite interested to find out.
Reason why she told me about it? Many of my colleagues thought that I was pregnant cos I gained so much weight recently. I also had a bulging tummy.
I was quite sure I was not pregnant. Like what all the women in the show would say: I have my 5 days menses! I had no symptoms at all! All my pregnancy tests were negative! I thought the movement in my tummy was gas! I had irregular menses so I didn't know!!
You may ask how can they not know?! True enough there isn't one, not two but many cases around!!
So one day when I told my colleague I haven't had my menses for 3 months, she was saying, "Are you sure you are not pregnant?" Apparently she has a friend who took urine tests and blood tests and were all negative until she was confirmed pregnant when she went to an ultrasound.
So am I pregnant? I'm pretty sure I'm not as I've taken plenty tests which are negative. I've yet to go for a checkup but I'm quite sure I won't be so heng like those other cases.

Oh! Other than this show, I also found another show by Discovery Channel. It's a reality show about this woman who gave birth to 19 kids and still counting. This is like the fourth season featuring her.
Of cos rich woman lah.. Else how to have so many kids? She's already 43 this year and she gave birth almost every year. How she does it? Watch the show loh! Incredible! Her name is Michelle Duggar. You can do a search and see her story.
Anyway, to me, my bulging tummy will now only contain my 5 months pregnant noodles, rice, fast food and all other stuff.. Great to see that I'm giving birth everyday to the chocolate pudding to at least see my maintenance in weight.. Whahahaha!!

Beauty is so damn important!!
As suggested by my post title, I will be spending my bonus on (facial, manicure, pedicure, hair, Botox, skin laser etc..) packages!!
I will also start to slim down in September!!
However before I start these revolution, I shall eat to my hearts content!! And of course repay all my debts first before I start new ones!! Hohohoho!!
Right now, frying a dozen of sotong balls!! Whahahahaha!! Eating while watching my drama series in minutes!!
