Pregnancy
From trying for a baby to giving birth and providing for the child till the time the parents pass on.. A big commitment and a big challenge..
The moment you decided to be a parent.. Does not mean that the next day you'll be one. It takes time, fate and many a time, it depends on your destiny.. If you're destined to have a child, you still have to wait and see when that happens.
It can come in a month of trying if you're extremely lucky. This is like striking big sweep. It can come in 6 months, like striking toto. It can come in a year, like striking 1st prize in 4D. It can come in 2 years, like striking the 2nd prize in 4D and so on.. Others who are less fortunate have to try for at least 10 years to have a child. I'm still considered fortunate to have only waited for 2.5 years..
Once you're pregnant, all sorts of feelings set in. Happiness, anxiety, worries, excitement.. Being pregnant is the most wonderful thing that a woman experiences.. (at least to my opinion) Though there're times that I feel not so well too.
From the sufferings of the 1st trimester to the excitement of the 2nd trimester and then the anxiety of the last trimester and finally happiness of the birth of your child.. It does not end there..
My pregnancy is quite problematic as I suffered a lot.. If I compare to those who are smooth sailing in theirs.. However if I were to compare mine to those worst off, mine is not so bad.. I believe my experience belongs to the middle range of sufferings..
No matter how difficult it is, when I felt the 1st kick in my womb, every sufferings seem to have ended just there. It's such a wonderful feeling to know that there's a new life in you and you're a mother..
Life is so amazing! Though I've yet to experience childbirth, from the videos which I've watched on YouTube and my antenatal class, I teared! Not because it's scary but because it is so touching! Of cause it looks painful too.. Extremely painful.. But amazing.. That's like the ultimate suffering of being a mum!!
No matter how painful it is, I need to experience that.. Apart from all the dissuasion which I get from people around me, telling me I'm not going to be able to make it without painkillers, I'll take my chance. Of cause if there's complication (touchwood), then I've no choice.. I just hope everything goes according to plan..
As for after birth, I just hope Baby Ayden will be healthy, strong and happy. Other things are all subsidiary..
