I think my family has a genetic stupid character!
I damn angry today loh! Supposed to meet my sis at Causeway Point at 7p.m. to have dinner to so call celebrate her birthday. I didn't want to go clubbing with her since I'm too old for these activities (clubbing is too energy wasting for me. I won't be able to take it...). Furthermore I'm tired, I have lots of work and next day I still have to work, so suggested that we have dinner first before she join her friends at the club. This was like arranged since last week. I kept reminding her not to be late as I have lots of other things to do. Well, as usual, probably due to our genes... We're both sort of the same.
She was late! She was late by 1 bloody hour! I was sitting alone in Swensons and people using weird stare at me, seems as if asking me why is she alone? So poor thing... Aarrgh... Luckily I was reading my mag and therefore can't care less. But 1 hour is too much. I was like literally nodding away, as if falling into deep comma soon and she's still not here despite calling her a few times. Obviously, she didn't answer the phone, both cell and home. I know if it's me, I will do the same but I just can't take it. Only people waiting for me and not the other way round!
Then, I called my bro on his cell. Your guess is right. She's still at home. I can hear her voice in the background. Bro told me that Dad is "crazy" again. Just because there's no one answering the phone. This lead to another family quarrel which I should say I was fortunate not to be around. Dad is suspected to have depression or maybe soon. By looking at all the symptoms that he's displaying, we were all worried about him. For he don't care about our feelings and continued in his own way of behaviour. Is it that he cannot control himself? I'm really wondering... Or is it another set of his scheme to get attention from us? He has been behaving this way since we were young. Just that this time it is going like a full-blown state soon.
Anyway, back to my sis. Finally, she called telling me that she's already on the bus. By now I'm totally pissed off. She too was pissed. By my dad of course. And our genetically stupid character-- we don't like people to rush us when we were late. Obviously she was rushed by her thousands of friends and me? Did i really rush her? I like call her twice but she never answer loh. Now she tell me she wanted to call to say sorry INITIALLY. But due to my tone of voice, she got agitated instead and fed up. HELLO! I WAITED FOR BLOODY 60 MINUTES LOH! WHAT KIND OF TONE DO YOU EXPECT? Fine. She told me "I told you I will be late! I told you I will reach 7.30p.m. and if you can't then don't meet!" Wah lau! Even more pu huay! I waited till 8p.m. loh! Far more then your initial 7.30p.m.! And why did I put in the effort to meet you? Cos it's your birthday loh! Why did I bloody order a small cake at Swensons? To look at it and throw in the dustbin right?! GGRR... Never say sorry still can tell me "LIKE THAT DON'T MEET!" Fine. Don't meet then.
I went home with a bloody big burning fire in me! Go back still have to bathe Sugie till 12midnight then have dinner. Thought it's her birthday, at least send her a birthday wish no matter how angry, no reply loh! Sigh... Difficult to be elder sis... I'm still super angry with her.
Managed to finish some stuff and photoshopping 50% of my new pictures. More to come. Need more time! I want 48 hours!!

Last Week and This (Part 2)
Recently, I had been spending lots of money on shopping and stuff. I wonder how am I going to save up for my wedding next year. Hmm... I hope by then I'm still able to hold a proper not so grand but ok wedding... Talking about spending, last Saturday, Beeie and I went to IMM with an open-mind to look at some furnitures and decos. When we went into PosturePedic, either the sales person was too damn good with her words, or the mattress was really too good to be true. In fact we paid a deposit and bought 1 on that day. The mattress cost us 5K plus for the premium. There was suppose to be this promotion going on and by paying a deposit, we would book the mattress at the promotion price and the original price for that mattress is 7.5k. We thought we've gotten ourselves a really good deal, that's why we paid the deposit. Apparently, after talking to Zann and Adiah, I realised that there are always promotion for mattresses all year round and there're definitely cheaper ones out there. Well, whats done is done. I can just tell myself that what we bought are the premium ones so at least we won't feel the pinch so much...
One side note... I think I will not be a mother for at least the next 7 years. First, I need to settle the wedding, then the house and finally now that MOE had announced that all teachers should possess a degree by 2015, I have to study 1st. Plus, I don't think I can afford to go full-time, I have to take part-time and that will last for at least 4 years. I don't think I can handle kids if I have to handle work and studies at the same time. Therefore by the time I can have kids, I'm afraid I might be gao ling chan fu le... Sigh...

Last Week and This... (Part 1)
To start off, I must post Beeie's 3 big jokes of the week. 1st joke -- Pija Lobang.
We were discussing certain house stuff with an interior designer last Saturday. We asked if the flooring on our balcony can be covered with some wooden plank as there's a hollow gap for the planters and we don't need that. Beeie asked, "Then will it Pija Lobang when we stand on it?" It sounded so funny though it may not now. The thing is that I totally understood what he meant but the word that he used was so not pro (so unlike him) that made me laughed. Of course I had to control myself so as not to embarass him in front of an outsider. Just funny... Keke...
2nd joke -- Raw Pig
We were discussing about the Guo Da Li for the Chinese Customary Wedding. Talking about having a suckling pig as part of it. I told him that some people don't use suckling pig (cooked pig) but raw pig (sheng zhu). What I was trying to say was like raw pork, uncooked, like raw fish or sashimi and guess what? He said, "Where got people give live pig (still sheng zhu in Chinese)?" I was quite confused initially. When I finally got what he meant (he meant a real life walking pig), ggrr... of course that was not what I meant lah! Stupid! Where on earth do people give life pig? He said I did not phrase properly. I think anyone would get what I mean loh... Cheh...
3rd joke -- Angle Wind
We reached home and I was asking him. "Why is it that our window is half opened only (1 panel closed, the other panel open)?" "Oh, like that the wind can divert itself in an angle an come in the house better and more cooling like that mah..." Who on earth heard of wind will divert itself de? Sigh... I laughed at him again and told him the wind would be blocked instead... You can't imagine how funny it was at the point of time... Funny yet angry... Ggrr...
We went to check out a few actual day photographers for the wedding and an interior designer for our house last Saturday. You think we're too kiasu? Well...
Actually it's not him, it's me. I don't like to wait on stuff. When I want to do it, I will just go ahead. For the photographer, I just want to look at their portfolio and check out how good are they before I make any decision. All these need time to settle so might as well settle it earlier. As for the interior designer, it's just a free service given by a magazine because I subscribed it, so might as well go since it's free. Told him what we had in mind and let him work out everything. Anyway it will be very minimum work since everything is done up nicely by the developer. Of course we did not commit anything lah! Siao! Still early hor! Haha...
Then we watched The House Bunny. The show was so stupid and funny loh. However, after watching that show it really inspired me to do something. It's really telling all the women in the entire world that there's no such thing as ugly women but just lazy women loh! You can't imagine how the hideous the women looked initially and after they were transformed, how gorgeous they were! That is so like our people in the society nowadays! I think back in my younger days, there were less chiobu on the streets as compared to now as people are now more willing to spend, richer and they are definitely more able to doll themselves up. That just shows why there were so many chiobus nowadays. Yes, I was motivated to dress up as well. I managed to do that in the 1st week of school, but later 'deflated' again. I told Beeie that I wonder how long my motivation may last. True enough, it didn't last more that 8hours. Haha...
Well, I've been really lazy lately 'cos of all the blogging and photoshopping. I will always try to wake up early to doll up myself but ultimately, due to the lack of sleep, I rather sleep more than dolling up. I hope I'm able to do that when I wake up later... Haha... I haven't been dressing up nicely for like damn bloody long loh! I think my cosmetics and faux lashes all mouldy soon... Hohoho...
Ok ok, it's getting super late now (or I should say super early)... I think I better sleep soon before I 'deflate' again later. I shall continue part 2 and possibly part 3 (photos) soon (I hope...). Anyway, hope that my new template is better and nicer than the previous. Stay tune too for more other updates and resources. Check out the gallery for new stuff too. Take care... (^_^)

Will update very soon...
I'm very happy with my finalsed blog template. I'm not going to change the layout anymore. This is the best so far (at least that's what I felt after spending so much time and energy on it). As for the banner and other grpahics, it will always be upgraded as I get better. Keke...
Anyway, I'm really tired now. Certain updates are not up yet but please be patient as I put them up one-by-one. Stay tuned.
