My Mini Me
Yes, I think I finally had the taste of my own medicine when I met the match with another me.. It's just that deja vu when I see how this mini me manifesting slowly into someone exactly like me.. The same temperament, fussiness, being nocturnal..
My mini me is very stubborn. He will only insist on what he wants and does not accede to your other requests.. Like I asked him to quiet down, he'll just kick a bigger fuss.. You take away his sippy cup when he's still drinking, he's going to roar and show you who's the boss.. You stuff milk into his mouth, he'll resist to the best that he can such that he'll wail his lungs out..
My mini me is very fussy. He's a fussy eater like me.. Things that I don't like to eat, I won't even touch it. If bought the wrong food of my request, I'll tell you to throw it away.. That's me.. Now my dear, if I force food which he'd tried for 2 months straight, without changing a single taste of it, he'll protest by giving you a man made waterfall from his tiny mouth, leading to a huge mess of cleaning up.. Yes, he's just like me..
My mini me is nocturnal. Recently he just refused to sleep.. He's so sleepy yet he wakes up in the night a thousand times.. He just prefer sleeping in his rocker and not the bed.. How to not straighten his back? Do I really have to put him in a hammock which I'm really not into this idea?! However seeing him a baby of 6 months with shades of darkness under his eye and eye bags as heavy as his dad made me feel I have no other choice.. Just need a few more nights of observation if I have to.. Though it has been sleepless nights for me for almost a month or two now..

Ayden's update
Ayden has been quite a good baby after the last update. He grew well, big and strong like I hope. Just that he has been refusing his milk.
I think all babies go through this one way or another. Since afew of my friends' babies had also went through this.
Ayden is not totally refusing his milk though. Just that he prefers very small feeds. It started off after his first jab. He used to drink 6oz before the jab and after he only drinks 2oz! That is like too little.. So I just have to very frequently feed him.
After I can slowly increase back to about 4oz, he refused to finish his milk even when I split it into 2 feeds with an interval of 30min. He needs to be sang to, rock him till he's sleepy, then he finishes his milk..
This has gone on till now for about close to 2 months. He's so used to it now. It's only when he's drowsy, then he finishes his milk.. Sometimes I have to deceive him using the pacifier then quickly change back to the milk bottle to trick him into sucking his milk.
Apart from all these, it takes him almost 1 to 2 hours to finish a feed.. Then it takes another 30 to 60 minutes to wake him up in order to burp him. Without burping, he'll have reflux and vomit.. Imagine after awhile, it's feeding time again! It's as if he's drinking non-stop!
Till today he's still like that.. Think he develops the habit of sleeping and drinking at the same time already.. But at least he's drinking back to his 6oz now.. Hopefully he'll be back to his normal drinking habit without me singing to him and rocking him.. His next jab is up soon.. Hopefully he doesn't go back to 2oz!

My Precious Time
Before I have my baby, already I'm so lack of time.. I need so much time to finish what I want to do. Be it for leisure purposes or work purposes. Now that I have my Baby Ayden with me, I'm more in need of time.. Mostly now, time for myself and time for rest. I can't imagine after my leave, how am I going to juggle between work life, family life and my own 'happy hour' life..
Cried yesterday night.. And also the night before.. Baby Ayden hasn't been a very good boy at night recently. It's hard to describe what I'm going through.. I just have to be woken up by him every 15 minutes.. Previous night, I slept for 4h only. Last night, 2h. I felt so frustrated with him! Why can't he be like my friends' babies who can sleep throughout the night? What's going to happen when I get back to work? How to manage when I still need to wake up like this at night? I just hope that he will grow out of this quickly and be able to sleep through..
Having not enough sleep is killer for me. I get frustrated easily. But how to be angry with an innocent baby? So I got angry with myself.. I am the one who wanted a child.. So this is what I have to go through! Last night, I told myself that I'm not going to go through all these all over again.. So Baby Ayden will stay as the only child! I don't care what others are going to say.. I just hope he grows up quickly so that I can have part of my life back..
Apart from all these rant, of course I still love my son.. How to not love him when I see all these?
